Mrs. Bernard Benzschawel and children of Boyd spent Tuesday evening at the Joseph Benzschawel home

Mr. and Mrs. Wally Symbal, Jr. of St. Paul spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. H. Deutschlander.

Frank Gostomski and son Lawrence returned home Friday after spending the last few months visiting with relatives in California, Texas and Florida.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Benzschawel visited at the Larry Spaeth home in Boyd on Sunday evening.

Mrs. Margie Damski of Thorp visited at the Henry Deutschlander home on Friday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Schank and daughters from Independence, Wis. spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Casper Haas, Sr.

Mrs. Joseph Benzschawel and Mrs. Larry Bradley of Jim Falls called at the Hames E. Fischer home in Eau Claire on last Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Deutschlander and Chet Zajack spent Thursday in the twin cites.

Mr. John Dulek and daughter LaVerne of Chicago spent the weekend at the home of Mrs. Verna Slupski. Mrs. John Dulek accompanied them back to Chicago after spending the past two weeks here.

Marilyn Plansky of Rochester, Minn. spent the weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Plansky.

Henry Deutschlander and son Leslie of Thorp and Wally Symbal Jr. of St. Paul spent Sunday at Little Rice fishing, and had a good catch.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl A. Carlson of Minneapolis, Minn. spent Tuesday through Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Casper Haas, Sr.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Lindquist and son Don visited over the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hallanger of Addison, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Teclaw of Oak Park, Ill.

Mr. and Mrs. Alex Soeller of Thorp visited with Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Geisler and son and in Greenwood on Sunday.

Mrs. Albin Berdal of San Diego, Calif. is spending some with her mother, Mrs. Verna Slupski, while she is convalescing after her surgery.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bohn visited at the Ray Kay home in Owen on Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Ted Schultze of Stanley, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Vanderhyden and children of Thorp were Tuesday supper guests at the Mrs. Mike Kronberg home in honor of Hugo Banderof’s birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Butterfield and children of Wausau spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Casper Haas, Sr.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bohn and Mrs. Louis Kaczor talked with master Sgt. And Mrs. Walter L. Bohn and daughter Sandra of Goose Bay, Labrador at the Blazer Ham Station at Owen.

Mr. Herman Paff of Chippewa Falls and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Score of Elk Mound visited at the John Paff home in Thorp Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gostomski entertained friends at cards Saturday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Kratovil of Chicago, Ill. and Mr. and Mrs. Hilmar Voelker of St. Anna, Wis. were weekend guests at the Gilbert Voelker home.

Mr. and Mrs. Marion Herman and children were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Herman on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Burzynski and son Kevin of Thorp spent Sunday at the George Miller home in Eau Claire.

Florian Gulcznski and son of Greenwood visited with Mrs. Julia Jasinski Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Baldeschwiler and daughter Margie talked with Gordon Baldeschwiler of Goose Bay, Labrador at the Blazer Ham Station at Owen.

The following people visited at the Edmund Cook home in Thorp during the past week: Mr. Hugo Banderof, Mrs. June Berdal, Mrs. John Paff, Mrs. Corwin Guell and Mr. Floyd Cook of Thorp.

Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert A. Voelker, accompanied by Marie Kremsiater, drove to St. Cloud, Minn. Saturday and visited at the Francis Voelker family, returning the same day.

Mr. and Mrs. Ulysses Cain and Mr. and Mrs. Chester Hebert of Loyal were Sunday afternoon and evening guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Karnopp.

Mrs. Jack Tetzner and son Bobby, and Mrs. Lee Biddle of Thorp visited Mrs. Henry Huls of Thorp during the past week.

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Herman, Mrs. Bertha Dudanski and Mrs. Clara Ebben visited with Mrs. Victoria Wilcenski, who is a patient at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chippewa Falls on Thursday.

Miss Diane Badzinski and friend Carolyn Fox of Minneapolis spent the weekend at Diane’s parental home in Thorp.

Mrs. Estelle Zukowski visited with Mrs. Verna Slupski and Mrs. Berdal Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stigen of Withee spent Tuesday with Mrs. Bertha Dudansky.

Miss Izzy Izydorek and Miss Sandy Izydorek of Minneapolis, Minn. visited Friday evening at the Alex Badzinski home in Thorp.

Mrs. Josephine Wehlacz visited with Mrs. Verna Slupski Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank LaFlex of Gilman and Mrs. Bertha Dudansky spent Wednesday in Chippewa falls with Mr. and Mrs. Louis Wald.

Mr. Chester Johnson of Thorp attended the Directors’ meeting of the Integrity Insurance Company at Appleton on Tuesday and Wednesday. Mrs. Johnson spent the time visiting with her sister, Mrs. Walter Schoen in Green Bay.

Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Milas entertained at a belated Christmas dinner in honor of Pvt. E2 Bernard E. Przybylski Sunday. He was hospitalized for some time at the base and unable to come for the holidays. He also made the acquaintance of his godchild, little Peggy Lou Milas.

Mark Allen, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Norm Seidling of Chippewa Falls was guest of honor at a baby shower held at the home of his grandparents, The Delton Ebbens on Sunday. His guests included Mrs. Ervin Primeau of Abbotsford, Mrs. Manny Firnstakl of Colby, Mrs. Allan Christphersen of Withee, Mrs. Jim Sneen and Mrs. Vella Schriber of Eau Claire, Mrs. Lawrence Seidling of Stanley, Mrs. Cliff Ebben, Mrs. Mary Moczarny, Mrs. Bill Zukowski, Mrs. Rick Noie and Mrs. Clara Ebben of Thorp. Mark received many useful gifts.

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Herman and Mrs. Bertha Dudansky attended a card party at the Frank Stigen home in Withee on Thursday evening.

Albert Wink. Sr. celebrated his 63rd birthday on Friday evening at the home of Albert Wink Jr. Present for the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Chmelik and family, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Spaeth and family, Mr. and Mrs. Orzechowski and family, Mrs. Bertha Pawlak, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Wink, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Welciek, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hodorowski and family, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hodorowski and family, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Jacque, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Jacque, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Grendzinski and Mr. Joe Keller of Fox Lake and great grandpa Frank Swienton;s first great grandchild.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Barth of Stanley and Janel Krel of Greenwood visited at the Gertrude Barth hone Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hendricks of Withee, George Telford of Owen, Mr. and Mr. Alfred Telford and family of Spencer, and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Hinker and family of Wausau were Sunday dinner guests at the John Hendricks home.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Biddle visited at the Dennis Biddle home Monday night.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Doege visited at the Paul Hodowanic home at Huron on Sunday afternoon.

Maxine Frese spent Saturday afternoon at the Anton Jacque home.

Mrs. Walter Dahm, James, Donna and Mikey Kopazc attended the fishing contest at Lake Arbutus at Hatfield on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Frazer and sons of Hudson visited at the Bernard Jacque home on Sunday.

Janet Krel of Greenwood called at the Ernest Doege home Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. Mike Pinter and Ronald of Boyd were Sunday supper guests at the Walter Dahm home.

Marlis Jacque of St. Paul spent the weekend at her home here.

Mrs. Ray Grendzinski visited Tuesday afternoon at the Dennis Biddle home.

Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Jacque, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Jacque were among those who helped Albert Wink Sr. celebrate his birthday on Friday night.
