New babies are the most news this week. They are all first child to each couple.
Kent Leslie to Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Mews of 310 central Ave. Marshfield; Kent
weighed 7 lbs. 7 ozs. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Mews, Sr. Shelli
Jane born to Mr. and Mrs. Dale Rothamer on Aug. 19. She weighed 7 lbs and 5 ozs.
and her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Rothamer and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Miller.
Tammy Sue born to Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Blum of 1637 N 5th, Sheboygan, on August 16.
Tammy's grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. John Blum Jr. of route 4, Marshfield,
formerly of Y.
Mrs. Leonard Thompson and Mrs. Ross Stevens both had gift parties at their home
this past week. .
Mr. and Mrs. Ross Stevens and Mrs. L. J. Chapman visited at the Oswald Henninger
home in Loyal on Sunday afternoon.
The Veefkind Homemakers will start the fall season of meetings at the fall
season of meetings at the Spencer Library on September 18 at 8:30. Hostass will
be Mrs. Arthur Paul, Sr. As the extension office be changed to begin on January

Metcakfes took them to visit at the following homes. Eugene Schmidtke of
Stratford. Ray Kammerer of Marshfield; Norman Vanderwyst, Granton; and Roger
Metcalfe.
Tuesday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Stevens were Mr. and Mrs. James
William and son of San Diego, California; Mr. and Mrs. Art Falk, Neillsville;
and Mrs. Andy Balciear and Brendy, Marshfield.
