Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Mueller and Diane arrived Saturday from Iowa to spend a number of days at the Mel Mueller home. The Ralph Mueller’s and Diane and Mr. and Mrs. C. O. Christensen were dinner guests of the Mel Mueller’s Monday evening at Castle Hill.

Joe Bertz, son of Sheriff and Mrs. David Bertz, and Jim Larsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Larsen, are attending the Bart Starr sports camp this week at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Oldham were honored Friday night with a surprise anniversary party. Their daughter, Kathy, planned the event successfully and also made a special cake for the occasion. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence McKevitt, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Tony Hantke, Mr. and Mrs. Bobrofsky and son, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Johnson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Hagen and family; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Miller and Donald, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Grap and daughter and Mrs. and Mrs. Kasimir Kolano and son.

Mr. and Mrs. Jon Karnitz of Wisconsin Rapids were guests last weekend at the Carl Rothenburger home and also at the home of Mrs. Dorothy Karnitz. The Rothenburgers and Mr. and Mrs. Karnitz were dinner guests Sunday at the Karnitz home, where Mr. and Mrs. Walter Durst were also guests.

Mr. and Mrs. Roger Jenni, St. Paul, Mn, spent last Tuesday with the Roland Jenni and Werner Jenni families. Thursday visitors at the Jenni homes were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schoppe and her sister, Mrs. Oscar Krause, of Juneau.

Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Hagen took their son, Timothy, to Madison Wednesday for a checkup.

Mrs. Frances Buchanan and daughter, Betty, of Westford, Ma, are spending two weeks visiting her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Vetrone, Jr., and son Jeff. The Buchanan’s are also visiting with the William Vetrone Sr., family and making new acquaintances here.

Members of the Happy Hustlers 4-H club visited the John Wuethrich Creamery Co., at Greenwood last Tuesday as part of their June Dairy Month observance.

Mr. and Mrs. John Triska of Glen Ellyn, Il, spent the weekend with Mr. Mabel Schoenfeld and attended the William Schmidtke’s Golden wedding anniversary open house Sunday in Granton. Friday evening visitors at the Schoenfeld home were the Schmidtkes and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Eggleston, and family of Stanton, Ca.

Martin Feuerstein, first ward alderman, and Bill Gallagher, City Clerk attended a Wisconsin Municipalities meeting last Wednesday through Friday at Neenah. Mrs. Feuerstein visited with the Gilbert Frank family in Oshkosh during that time.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dietrich of North Fond du Lac visited last Wednesday with Mrs. Leonard Wachholz and Mr. and Mrs. William Simek.

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Weaver of Porterville, Ca, spent several days visiting relatives in the Neillsville Area with their cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Mills and Mr. and Mrs. Everett Shaw. The Weavers were supper guests Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Greeler.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rothenburger and family of Madison visited from Friday until Sunday at the Carl Rothenburger home and also at the home of her mother, Mrs. Anita Hiller, at Chili.
