Neillsville (Happy Hustler 4-H - 29 June 1972)
The Happy Hustlers 4-H club held its June Meeting on the 13th at 7 p.m. Pledges
were said and the secretary’s and treasurer’s reports were given and approved.
Roll call was taken with 17 members present. Each member answered with a dairy
product.
Old business was discussed. The bake sale was said to be successful with over
$30 made.
New business included plans for a cheese distribution June 15 at the court
house. The club sang at Memorial Home.
Dairy demonstrations were given by Ann Sternitzky (cottage cheese salad) and
Linda Diers (four main kinds of cheese). A dairy safety talk was given buy Cheri
Diers.
A dairy foods picnic was planned for Friday afternoon at Schuster Park.
Missy Darling made and Cheri Dies seconded a motion to adjourn.
Cheri Diers entertained the group by having a scrambled dairy word game, which
was won by Jackie Schoenherr. The game was followed by a dairy lunch serve by
Cheri and Linda Diers. - Jackie Schoenherr, club reporter.
