Monday evening Mrs. Victoria Wilcenski and James Boylan were in Ladysmith
visiting at the Herbie Beck home.
Mr. and Mrs. Emil Kickbush and family of Milwaukee were visitors at the Ed Gay
home from Thursday until the past Sunday. They also visited relatives in
Medford.
Mr. and Mrs. Max Siemek and family were Sunday dinner and supper guests of the
Joe Hargot's in Lublin. The occasion was in celebration of Herman Malinowski's
birthday.
Miss Betty Jarmoluk, who teaches in Chetek, was a weekend guest of her parents.
Sunday afternoon guests at the Mrs. Frank Popple home were Mr. and Mrs. Ted
Anderson, son Freddie and lady friends of Hannibal.
Mrs. Glen Romig visited last Tuesday afternoon in Sheldon with her father, D.L.
Picering, and her sister, Dorothea.
Dr. and Mrs. B.R. Slota and family of Thorp and Mr. and Mrs. B.L. Slota spent
Sunday at their cottage at Lake Holcombe, and enjoyed a picnic supper there.
Mr. and Mrs. Jenny O'Connell left Friday for a visit with relatives in Racine.
Miss Bonnie Kornesczuk and girlfriends of Wis. Rapids were Saturday visitors at
the home of Bonnie's mother, Mrs. Mary Kornesczuk.
The Ed Gay's had Mr. and Mrs. Hank Cieslek of Thorp as their Sunday visitors.
Mr. and Mrs. V.L. Slota spent Thursday afternoon shopping in Eau Claire.
Miss Grace Doege of Greenwood visited her sister, Mrs. Max Siemek and family
Saturday afternoon and evening.
Sharon Siemek had as her supper guests Sunday evening, Sandra Creaser of Donald,
Debbie Story of Hannibal and Linda Webster of Gilman.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Skaleski of River Falls visited her grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. B.L. Slota Saturday.
Mrs. Victoria Wilcenski spent the weekend with her daughter and family, the
Merlin Williams' in Minneapolis.
The John Dodge family of Dorchester were dinner guests at the home of Mrs.
Dodge's parents, the Glen Romig's on Sunday. The Ted Romig's were also their
visitors.
Ed Gay and his friend Emil Kickbush of Milwaukee were business callers in
Stanley last Thursday afternoon.
Miss Pat Schultz and friend, Miss Susan Meager, who teaches at Conrath, had
supper Saturday evening at the home of the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed
Schultz.
