Schoen, Risé A. (20 August 1960 - 26 March 2014)
Risé A. Schoen, 53 of Neillsville passed away March 26, 2014.
Risé was born in Marshfield Aug. 20, 1960, to her parents Eugene and Yvonne
Rendmeister. She attended Marshfield High School but graduated from Black River
Falls High School in 1978. She met her husband, Ed Schoen, at the roller rink in
Hatfield and the two were married April 17, 1982, in Black River Falls. During
her life, Risé worked various waitress jobs. In 2000, she began her current
position as a medical driver for Abby Vans.
Risé was a fun, loving and caring wife and mother. She loved ride horses, go
camping, boating, roller skating and reading. Risé was also a regular at many
sporting events and could be heard cheering on hers in football, wrestling and
track.
Her memory will live on in her devoted husband, Ed Schoen; sons, John, Rob, Dan:
mother, Yvonne Rendmeister; siblings: Rhonda Rendmeister, Reneé (Shorty)
Drescher, Rand (Lesa) Rendmeister, Ryan (Jeannie) Rendmeister, Roxanne (Doug)
Shultz, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Risé was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Rendmeister, who passed away
one year ago March 26, 2013; father-in-law, Edward W. Schoen; and niece, Bethany
Opelt. Risé will be deeply missed by her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Risé was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 29,
at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville. The celebrant was Rev. Joseph V.
Varkey. Music was provided by Ronald Resong, organist, and St. Mary’s Choir.
Visitation was held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Gesche Funeral Home and
from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Interment was in St. Mary’s
Catholic Cemetery.
Casketbearers were John Schoen, Robert Schoen, Daniel Schoen, Nick Rendmeister,
Adam Rendmeister and Zachary Zschernitz.
