Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Armstrong of Wabeno, Wis., celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Sunday, Aug. 8, 1965, at the home of their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Hargraves, route 1, Abbotsford.

Over 100 friends and relatives attended the celebration.  Among those present were two sons, Mr. and Mrs. James Armstrong and Ricky of Aurora, Ill., and Rev. and Mrs. Arnold Armstrong and Mary Jane of Pineville, Ky., and three daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Haynes and family of Winona, Mo., Miss Gladys J. Armstrong and Miss Hazel M. Armstrong of Kansas City, Mo.

Other friends and relatives were from Colfax, Jefferson, Baron, Hilldale, Westboro, Wabena, Wausau, Athens, Prentice and Abbotsford, and Elgin, Ill.

Buffet dinner was served at one o’clock followed with a ride for the honored couple in a 1929 model A Ford.
