Dean Ebben began participating in a sales training program for Kohler Co., June
20, 1966.
The program included classes taught by company personnel, tours of the plant's
main office building and showroom, working on inspection jobs in the Pottery,
Brass, and Enameled Iron Division, and three weeks of on the job training at a
branch office in Cleveland, Ohio.
After completing the training program he was appointed assistant manager for the
Kohler Co. branch office in St. Louis, Mo., where he is now presently employed.
Dean, 21, a resident of Thorp (Clark Co.), Wis. has seen active duty with the
air force in Viet Nam.
He enlisted for four eyars in 1962 and received training in the mechanical field
at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, and Sheppard AFB, Wichita, Kansas, before
being assigned to Viet Nam, where he served as crew chief on a C123, a
twin-engine, short take off plane shuttling cargo to Special Forces camps. Dean
logged some 30 flights over South Viet Nam.
Dean's father, Delton, is a brother of Roy Ebben, personnel director, and Leo
Ebben, Industrial Arts Director, at Kohler Schools.
