Molczan, Andrew J. (10 OCT 1884 - 28 OCT 1966)
Andrew J. Molczan, 82, passed away Friday, Oct. 28th of a heart attack at the
Havenet Nursing Home, Owen.
Mr. Molczan, a retired farmer, was born Oct. 10, 1884 in Poland. After arriving
in the states he resided in Pennsylvania, Chicago, Canada, Lublin and in Sept.
1965 moved to Owen (Clark Co., Wis.). He was married in Chicago to Josephine
Chyla, who preceded him in death.
Funeral services were conducted at St. Stanislaus Church, Lublin by Rev. Edward
Cyz at ten a.m. Monday, Oct. 31st. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Kazmer Molczan, Chester Molczan, Andrew Daniels, Charles
Kangas, George O'Brien, and Anthony Kolesar.
Surviving are three sons, Frank of Gresham, Oregon, Joseph of West Palm Beach,
Fla., Kazmer of Libertyville, Ill.; four daughters, Rose Bielski and Caroline
Kilroy, both of Chicago, Stella Daniels of Fairfax, Va., Anna Kolesar of Owen;
fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Those from out of town attending the funeral were Kazmer Molczan of
Libertyville, Ill., Rose Bielski and Caroline Kilroy of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs.
A.H. Daniels, Fairfax, Va., Mr. and Mrs. George O'Brien and daughter of
Vermillion, S.D., Mr. and Mrs. Chester Molczan, Tony, Wis., and Miss Beverly
Molczan, Marshfield.
