Sallis, Margaret (1913? - 5 NOV 1966)
Mrs. Margaret Sallis, 53, wife of Dr. Douglas Sallis of Stanley, died Saturday
afternoon in Luther Hospital at Eau Claire.
She was born in Russia and moved to Canada with her parents. After her married
in 1950 at Mt. Lehman, B.C., Canada, the couple resided in Kingston, Ontario,
where Dr. Sallis completed his education. They lived in Flint, Mich. From 1955
to 1956, and in Smithville, Ontario from 1956 until moving to Boyd in 1958.
For the past three years the Sallis family has resided in Stanley.
Surviving are her husband; two children, Fred and Christine, both at home; her
mother, Mrs. Henry Willms of Abbotsford, B.C.; three brothers and three sisters,
Henry and James Willms, British Columbia; Dr. John Willms, Prince George, B.C.,
Mrs. George Decatur, Ga., Mrs. Albert Toewes, Abbotsford, B.C., and Miss Mary
Willms, Vancouver, B.C., Canada
