Travinski, Charles (1891 - 3 NOV 1966)
Charles Travinski, age 74, died Nov. 3, 1966 at St. Frances Hospital in
Evanston, Ill.
He was born in Shenandoah, Pa. in 1891. He moved with his parents to Thorp
(Clark Co., Wis.) in 1892.
He worked in lumber camps in Ironwood, Mich., northern Wisconsin, Dakota and
Washington.
The last few years he worked as a gardener in Illinois.
He is survived by two sisters, Pauline Diver of Lake Geneva, Wis.; Helen
Deniszkiewicz of Stanley, Wis., and one brother, Mike Travinski of Milwaukee,
Wis.
Funeral services were held at transfiguration parish Nov. 5th. Interment took
place in Mayhill Cemetery.
Mrs. Deniszkiewicz of Stanley and Mike Travinski and sons of Milwaukee were out
of town guests. Rest of the relatives were in Chicago.
Pallbearers were Joe Pajak, John Shaw, John Diver, Ray Diver, Leonard Diver and
George Asborn.
