John Pernic, Rt. 1, Willard (Clark Co., Wis.) suffered minor burns about the face and hands and arms Saturday when gasoline ignited while he was fueling a tractor on his farm in the town of Seif.

Pernic said he was getting the tractor ready to pull a car, which was stuck near his farm. He said as he was pouring gasoline into the tractor the fuel ignited. His clothing caught fire, and there was also damage to the tires and the finish on the tractor.

The flames also spread to the door of a machine shed in front of which the tractor was parked. The engine of the tractor was running at the time.
