Traven (Travinski), Walter (1897? - 25 NOV 1966)
Funeral services for Walter Traven (Travinski), 69, of 320 Third Ave. S.W.,
Pacific, Wash., were held at 11 o'clock in the Lightle Chapel, Auburn, Wash.,
with burial in the Auburn Cemetery. He died unexpectedly Friday at his home of a
heart attack.
Born in Thorp (Clark Co.), Wis., Mr. Traven lived in Washington State most of
his life. He went to Pacific 20 years ago. He was an operating engineer for
heavy duty construction. He was a past member of the Puyallup Elks.
Surviving are his wife, Elsie R.; a daughter, Mrs. Milton Pangdom, Pacific; four
step-sons, William R. Goodman, Auburn, Hugh Goodman, Portland, Robert Goodman,
Livermore, Calif., and Burley Owings, Huntsville, Ala.; a step-daughter, Ramona
Owings, Seattle; a brother, Mike Traven, and two sisters, Mrs. Pauline Diver and
Mrs. Helen Dineszkiewicz, all of Wisconsin.
