Zakrzewicz, Anna (4 NOV 1890 - 25 NOV 1966)
Anna Zakrzewicz, 78, passed away at home in her sleep on Friday, Nov. 25th,
1966.
Funeral services were held at St. Stanislaus Church, Lublin on Monday Nov. 28th.
Father Edward Cyz officiated at the ten am. Service and burial was in the parish
cemetery. Pallbearers were: Walter Ruda, Walter Szymoniak, Lawrence Rudneck, Joe
Zdrojkowski, Stanley Liazuk and Joseph Sliwinski.
Anna Lewandowski was born Nov. 4, 1890 at Joliet, Ill. She was united in
marriage to Frank Zakrzewicz at Lublin, Wis., July 20, 1920. When they moved to
the Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) area five years after their marriage, they resided
on a farm 6 miles north of Thorp. She was a member of the Rosary and Altar
Societies of St. Stanislaus Church and a member of American Legion Auxiliary
Cecil Tormey Post 118.
Surviving are her husband Frank; two sons, Eugene Zakrzewicz, Thorp, Robert
Zakrzewicz, Cardinville, Ill., two daughters, (Rita) Mrs. James Marcantanio,
Forest Park, Ill., Loretta Zakrzewicz, Minneapolis; two brothers, Stanley and
Leo Lewandowski, both of Joliet, Ill.; three sisters, (Mary) Mrs. Leo Wedman and
Frances Lewandowski, both of Joliet, Ill., (Julia) Mrs. Joseph Sliwinski of
Lemont, Ill., and 12 grandchildren. One son died in infancy.
