Christmas Day dinner guests at the Anna Paap home were Mr. and Mrs. Omar Thorp
of Darlington, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Lauer and family of Prairie du Sac, Mr. and Mrs.
Henry Hansen and Diane and Mr. and Mrs. George Paap and Ricky and Brian.
Mr. and Mrs. Charlie McGinnis of Plano, Ill., spent the Christmas holidays with
Mrs. Alma Johnson and the Haugen brothers.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nitz attended the funeral of Fred Nitz at Mosinee last
Wednesday.
Christmas Day dinner guests at the Joe Horban home were Mrs. Herbert Olson and
Marlene of New London, Mrs. Roy Olson and Sandy of Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford
Manier and Mr. and Mrs. Jake Manier and boys.
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Swope and family were Christmas supper guests at the Kenneth
Swope home at Tunnel City.
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Kolar and Debbie and Linda of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Donald
Berge of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Berge and Lori Ann of Neenah and Mr.
and Mrs. Paul Stauffacher and Valerie and David of Minneapolis spent the
Christmas weekend with both the Alfred Berge's and Hans Johnson. Other Christmas
Eve guests at the Alfred Berge home were Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Lewallen and Brenda
and Ronnie Hera.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller and Mrs. Larry Gerrits and Toni were Christmas Eve
supper guests at the Don Miller home.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Copenhavor and children of Glen Ellyn, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs.
Joe Emert Jr. and daughters of Janesville spent the Christmas weekend with Mrs.
Catherine Godke and the George Paap's. Mrs. Copenhavor and children and Mrs.
Emert and daughters remained here for a week's visit with the Paap's and Mrs.
Godke and other relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller were Christmas Day dinner guests at the Laurence Henke
home at Owen.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nitz were Christmas Day dinner guests at the Vernon La
Marche home.
Mr. and Mrs. George Paap and boys spent Christmas Eve with the Joe Emert's Sr.
at Fairchild.
Mr. and Mrs. Orvil Manier and family were Christmas Day dinner guests at the
Wilfred Mohr home.
Christmas dinner guests at the Bart Brandt home were Mr. and Mrs. Don Brandt and
family of Eau Claire and Mr. and Mrs. John Brandt and family of Thorp. Bart
Brandt had a Chrismas Day telephone visit with his brother Art Brandt in
Pennsylvania, and also received a telephone Christmas visit with their son Bob
at Kenosha.
Mr. Orville Peterson, Mrs. Dick Brandt and Mrs. Agnes Rolland visited mrs. Alma
Johnson Thursday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller were Christmas Eve visitors at the Wilfred Shilts home.
Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Kline and children of Minneapolis spent the Christmas
holidays with the Carl Brandt's.
Mr. and Mrs. Jake Manier and boys, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Horban and family, Mr. and
Mrs. Orville Manier and family and Emil Brown spent Christmas Eve with the
Clifford Manier's.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nitz spent Christmas Eve with the Glenn Booth's.
Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Kline and family of Minneapolis and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Brandt
were Monday dinner guests at the Lyle Brandt home.
