Bielecki, Lillian Caroline (22 May 1922 - 29 May 2014)
Lillian C. Bielecki, age 92, of Thorp, WI, passed away on Thursday, May 29,
2014, at Our Lady of Victory Hospital in Stanley. Funeral services were held at
11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Thorp Funeral home, with Pastor Steve
Mohr officiating. Burial followed in new St. Hedwig’s Catholic Cemetery in
Thorp. Pallbearers were: Norm Danielewicz, Russell Isenberger, Patrick
Isenberger, Gary Lato, Jr., Jay Miles, Wesley Danielewicz, Scooter Isenberger
and Marcus Shilts. Visitation was held at Thorp Funeral Home, on Tuesday, June
3, 2014, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until time
of service.
Lillian Caroline Schilling was born in Milwaukee, WI on May 22, 1922, a daughter
of the late Flora (Nelson) and Henry Schilling. She was raised and received her
education in Milwaukee area schools. She was united in marriage to Leonard
Bielecki in Minnesota. In addition to being a homemaker and mother of three
children, Lillian also worked as a waitress at the Thorpedo Restaurant in Thorp
for more than 27 years. She had many interests, but especially enjoyed fishing,
gardening, shooting pool, cooking and canning.
Lillian is survived by one daughter, Barbara A. Isenberger of Eau Claire; 12
grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; two
sons-in-law: Norman Danielewicz of Thorp and Gary Lato of Stanley; three
brothers: Kenneth Schilling of Milwaukee, WI, Jack Schilling of Antigo, WI and
Ronald (Jackie) Schilling of Waterford, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters: Sandra Danielewicz and
Linda Lato; four brothers: Henry, Robert, Donald and Pete Schilling; and three
sisters: Rose Engle, Jean Lichte and Marilyn Miller.
