Derks, Joyce Ann (26 NOV 1966)

St. Paul's Catholic Church, Bloomer, was the scene of the marriage ceremony of Joyce Ann Derks and Robert L. Rogalski, on Saturday, Nov. 26th, 1966. Father Joseph B. Ferron performed the eleven a.m. ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Henry Derks, Bloomer, and Mrs. Evelyn Rogalski, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.)

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a bridal gown made by her mother, styled of satin, with an empire waistline and straight floor length skirt accented with miniature pleats. The full train was edged with lace which also trimmed the neckline. Her bouffant veil was attached to a stain petal and bow headpiece and she carried a bouquet of miniature sweetheart yellow roses and white spider mums with ivy.

Miss Gloria Ciokiewicz, niece of the groom, was maid of honor, wearing a floor length dress. The off white crepe skirt was attached to a green lace bodice with elbow length sleeves. To her green pillbox headpiece was attached a bouffant veil and she carried a bronze and yellow mums with green ivy bouquet.

James Derks was best man and ushers were Donald Rogalski, brother of the groom, and Neil Hazel wander.

A dinner and reception from 1 to 6 was held at the Moose Lodge, Bloomer.

The couple will make their home at 11 73 1/2 E. Madison, Eau Claire.
