Mrs. Henry (Clara) Heinzel, 79, a former Curtiss resident, died Jan. 29 at the Clark county Memorial hospital, Jeffersonville, Ind. Funeral services were held Feb. 3 at Vancouver, Wash., and burial was in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens at Vancouver.
The former Clara Botterud was born Dec. 25, 1886, at Curtiss, where she received her education. Her marriage to Henry Heinzel, who survives, took place in 1929 at Curtiss. The couple moved to Orchards, Wash., where she resided until 1963. Since then, she had lived at the nursing home in Jeffersonville, Ind.
In addition to her
husband, Mrs. Heinzel is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Gene (Jean) Goodwin,
Jeffersonville, Ind.; a brother, Carl Botterud, Milwaukee; three sisters, Mrs.
Arthur (Jennie) Stadler of Owen, Mrs. Adolph (Alma) Northam, Superior, and Mrs.
Nathan (Agnes) Azine, Miami Beach, Fla., and two grand children. She was
preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
