Funeral services for the Rev. James Plautz, Amboy, Minn., were held Monday, Jan. 31, at Amboy.  Memorial services were held Tuesday, Feb. 1, at the Trinity Lutheran church, Wausau, and burial was Thursday at Kankakee, Ill.

Rev. Plautz died Friday, Jan. 28, at his home in Amboy.  He was 31 years old.  He was the brother of Charles Plautz of Abbotsford, and had conducted services at Christ Lutheran church, Abbotsford, during the absence of Pastor F. A. Sprengler.

Survivors include his wife, Donna; two sons, Paul and Mark, both at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Plautz, Wausau; a sister Karen Plautz, Wausau, and three brothers, Charles, Abbotsford, Gene of Fond du Lac, and Joseph, Jacksonville, Ill.
