Funeral services for Mrs. Amelia Amundson, 76, Green Bay, former Colby resident, will be held Friday, Feb. 18, at 2 p.m. at the First United Church of Christ, Colby. The Rev. Kenneth Dix will officiate and burial will be in Colby Memorial cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby from noon Thursday until the time of the services.
Mrs. Amundson died Monday evening, Feb 14, in a Green Bay hospital following a long period of illness.
Born Amelia Pacholke Jan. 21, 1890, in Pennsylvania, Mrs. Amundson was a resident of Colby most of her life. She moved to Green Bay four years ago. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Colby, and the Women’s Guild of the church. Her husband preceded her in death.
Survivors
include one son, Lloyd Amundson, Waupaca; three daughters, Mrs. Edmund (Ruth)
Sinclair of Green Bay, Mrs. Stella Pangratz of Auburndale, and Mrs. Joseph
(Joyce) Nockerts of Green Bay; five brothers, Fred, John, Louis, Edward and
Howard Pacholke, and four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Young, Mrs. Tillie Pacholke, Mrs.
Minnie Witte and Mrs. Charles Hanna.
