Pleasant Ridge (13 July 1972)
Milton Erickson and his daughter, Lynne, of Danville, Il., are spending two
weeks at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Erickson. They plan to
return to Danville this coming weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Boushon spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Merton Holt.
Sunday visitors at the Holt home also included Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hole and
family of Durand.
Mr. and Mrs. David Bragg and family and Randy Marden attended the Merrillan soft
ball tournament last weekend. Mrs. Bragg and her daughters planned to visit with
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Erickson at Mondovi Wednesday. Cheryl Bragg was to remain
and spend some time with the Erickson’s.
Shirley Magnuson of Minneapolis, Mn, has been spending two weeks’ vacation with
her mother, Mrs. Ella Magnuson. On Friday, the Magnusons and Miss Elsie Wolf
drove to Milwaukee where they visited Mrs. Magnuson’s aunt, Mrs. Minnie Krueger.
Members of the Pleasant Ridge Homemakers club and their families enjoyed a
potluck picnic Sunday at Schuster Park.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Seelow of Neillsville and Ed Kier of Eau Claire and his
grandson, Chuck Scheffer, of Mequon, were recent visitors at the Ernest Ott
home. Callers at the Ott home Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Norlin of Tomahawk,
who were here to attend a family reunion at Schuster Park.
Mrs. Ralph Lund, New Richland, Mn, and Douglas and Duane Lund of Minneapolis, Mn,
spent last weekend at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
George Erickson.
Mrs. Darol Lewis returned home June 30 from Memorial Hospital where she
underwent major surgery.
Louis Krause of Washburn spent a day recently with his sister, Mrs. Merton Holt.
The Pleasant Ridge Circle of the Neillsville United Methodist Church will meet
this (Thursday) afternoon in Schuster Park, weather permitting.
