Richmond, Harry W. (13 September 1888 - 9 July 1972)
Harry W. Richmond, 83, of rural Chippewa Falls and a former Greenwood resident,
died July 9 at a Chippewa Falls hospital following a stroke.
Mr. Richmond, so of Fayette and Harriet (Higby) Richmond, was born in Sheboygan
County September 13, 1888. He came to Clark County with his parents in 1900. On
March 29, 1916, he was married to Lillie Offord in Greenwood. They farmed in Eau
Claire and Vernon counties and lived in Thorp and South Dakota, where he worked
at carpenter trade. In 1930 they moved to Chippewa Falls. Mrs. Richmond died on
July 6, 1970.
Mr. Richmond is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Fred (Myrtle) Harp and a son,
Delbert, both of Chippewa Falls; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a
brother, William Richmond of Neillsville; three sisters, Mrs. Otto (Florence)
Schwarze and Mrs. Viv (Mary) Carteron of Greenwood and Mrs. William (Eunice)
Froelich of Barrington, Il.
Funeral services were held from the Hogseth-Pederson Funeral Home in Chippewa
Falls July 12. The Rev. David Buskar officiated and burial was made in the
Forest Hill Cemetery there.

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Horn.
