The dinner and sale held in the opera house Sunday by the Lutheran Church
congregation was well attended.
The following people from Milan attended the harry Brown Show in Athens Sunday
evening: Mr. and Mrs. Hy Hanneman, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Foltz, Misses Esther
Schode, Josephine Faucher, Etta Zell, Edna Eleanor Hinze, and Messrs Arnold and
George Hoppe, Walter and Arnold Kallein, Donald Cork, and Andrew and Frank
Haderlein. All reported a very enjoyable evening.
Mrs. Arthur Foltz was a Colby visitor Friday.
The stores in Milan will be closed in the afternoon on Decoration Day May 30th.
L. D. Fletcher of Morse, Wis., arrived here last week and is now a regular agent
at the depot. W. Petricha, relief agent left for Nekoosa, Wisconsin.
Mr. and Mrs. Emil Schode attended a party at the Richard Schode home Sunday
evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Mechelke and son, Birnamwood, drove over Monday to visit their
daughter and sister, Mrs. F. W. Bobbe.
