Miss Barbara Dianne Lemke, route 1, Loyal and George Thomas Richards, 30W204 Argil Lane, Naperville, Illinois exchanged wedding vows at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal on Saturday, September 14 at 1 p.m. ceremony.

The Rev. William Humlie officiated and Michael Tucker, Loyal was the organist and soloist was Georgia Bergman, Gleason. She sang "The Lord's Prayer."

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Harold Lemke, route 1, Loyal and Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Richards, 30W204 Argil Lane, Naperville, Illinois.

The bride given in marriage by her father wor e a floor length bouffant skirt made of nylon sheer over skirt reveling a flounce of chantilly lace. Chantilly lace was repeated in the sabrina neckline and long sleeves. Her bouffant veil was of imported silk illusion attached to a sunburst headpiece. She carried a bouquet of Woburn Abbey roses and yellow carnations.

Mrs. Bruce Pratz, Stevens Point was the matron of honor and Miss Gail Richards, Naperville, was the bridesmaid.

The attendants were seen in short sleeved, floor length A-line gowns of etched taffeta over taffeta. The matron of honor wore a nile green gown and the bridesmaid was primrose yellow over nile green. Both had headpieces of the same material as their gowns. Each carried a single long stemmed Woburn Abbey rose.

David McElhinny, Naperville, Illinois was the best man and Mr. Bruce Pratz, Stevens Point, was the groomsman. Dennis Stover, Good Thunder, Minnesota and W. Michael Powell, Naperville, Illinois were the ushers.

A wedding reception was held at the Star Lodge Motel from 2-5 p.m. followed by a dinner in the church parlor.

The bride is a 1967 graduate of Loyal High School and attended Wisconsin State University-Oshkosh.

The groom ia a 1966 graduate of Naperville High School and attended Kendall College, Evanston, Illinois; and Wisconsin State University - Oshkosh. He is employed by the state of Illinois.
