Kelley, Beatrice (Vanden Avond) (5 JAN 1922 - 7 JUN 2014)
Beatrice Vanden Avond Kelley, 92, Cape Coral, Fla., died on Saturday, June 7,
2014, at Gulf Coast Village with family at her side.
She was born January 5, 1922, in Green Bay to the late John and Elizabeth Vanden
Avond. On October 28, 1939, she married George Kelley in Duck Creek. Bea was an
excellent athlete and excelled at skating.
Bea and George then moved to Abbotsford in 1940 where they founded Kelley Dairy
Supply. In 1971 Bea and George retired and moved to Cape Coral, Fla. They were
active there in boating and golfing and made many new friends. They spent their
summers in Minocqua where they loved entertaining family and friends.
Survivors include their children, Patrick (Lois) Kelley, Scottsdale, Ariz.,
Nancy (Richard) Brown, Fort Myers, Fla., Mary Nimz (Carl - deceased), Fort
Myers, Fla., John Kelley (Mary - deceased), Green Bay, Mark Kelley, Dorchester,
and Pamela (Alan) Prestebak, Dorchester. She is further survived by nine
grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George, in 2008.
A private memorial service for the family will be held at a later date.
