Maroney, Larry Michael (30 JAN 1950 - 6 JUN 2014)

Larry Michael Maroney, age 64, passed away Friday, June 6, 2014 in Spencer. A celebration of life will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, June 28, 2014 at My Brother's Bar in Spencer. Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Spencer is assisting the family with arrangements.

Larry was born January 30, 1950 the son of Joseph C. and Joyce J. (Cotton) Maroney in Cheyenne, WY. After graduating from Pine Bluff High School, in WY, Larry served his country proudly in US Navy during Vietnam. Larry was united in Marriage to Sandra Janesack, they later divorced.

He moved to Wisconsin where he worked as a farm laborer for over 20 years.

Mr. Maroney was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting (especially bear hunting). He also enjoyed watching football. Those that knew him best will miss his warm spirit and his great sense of humor.

Larry leaves behind his daughter: Tonya; his siblings: Joseph (Guyla) Maroney Jr.; Jerry (Colleen) Maroney; Mary Munoz; Pat (Nikki) Maroney; and Gary (Kris) Maroney. He is further survived by 8 nieces and nephews as well a granddaughter. He also leaves behind special friends: Jason Forst, Renee Ertz and her family.
