Hinke, Fern Fayette (Hoffman) (1954? - 16 JUN 2014)
For over 40 years, Fern lived and raised her family in the country, near
Dorchester, WI. Then on Monday, June 16, 2014, at the age of 60 and after losing
her battle with cancer, she left with the angels to be with our Lord. She will
be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Fern was born the daughter of Donald A. Hoffman and Joyce (Morrison) Hoffman
(Passed). She was the third child of seven, a brother, Donald A Hoffman
(passed), a sister, Donna (Hoffman) Hildebrandt of Chili, WI; twin brothers,
Dwight A, Hoffman (passed) and Dean K. Hoffman of Loyal, WI.; a brother, Mark E.
Hoffman of Loyal, WI and a brother, Paul T. Hoffman of Athens, WI. Fern married
Kenneth Hinke of Dorchester, WI, in 1972 and later divorced.
They had three sons, Randy K. Hinke of Eau Claire, WI, married to Ginny (Kolve)
Hinke; Mike A. Hinke of Stetsonville, WI; and Matthew J. Hinke of Maple Grove,
MN. Fern was blessed with 4 grandchildren. Kadin and Anikan Machusak, Ava Hinke
and Hunter Hinke.
Fern was the daughter-in-law of Marlene and Bryce Hinke of Medford, WI. Fern
worked at A & B Process Systems in Stratford before her illness. Fern's greatest
joy came from spending time with her family. She did enjoy gardening, restoring
furniture, home improvement projects, and refurbishing broken and old items.
Her family life and home reflected her belief that if you take from the earth,
you put it back. An open house, Celebration of Life gathering, for family and
friends will be held at her home in Dorchester, WI on Saturday, June 28, from 11
a.m. until 4 p.m. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Marshfield WI,
at a later date.
