Richard Gotter made a business trip to Marshfield last Saturday.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Prest were hurt by jumping from the upper windows when t heir house was on fire, last week much worse than thought for when reporting the matter last week.  Mr. Prest had two ribs fractured and the shoulder blade was wrenched loose from the flesh and makes a painful injury Mrs. Prest had three fractures in one leg besides the kneecap being split, also several bad bruises on her back and hips.  At present writing they are more comfortable and speedy recovery is hoped for.

H.H. Johnson was so low last week that all their children were telegraphed for and hurried to his sick bed.  At last report he had somewhat rallied and the family were entertaining faint hopes of his recovery.

J.R. Crouch purchased a horse last week of Herman Hahm.

Ed Hahm returned Wednesday to his labors at Wausau.
