------ Decker, Kristine A. (19 FEB 1966)
Miss Kristine A. Decker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Decker, and Roger W. Ellenbecker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ellenbecker, all of rural Dorchester, repeated their marriage promises Saturday, Feb. 19, at St. Louis Catholic church, Dorchester. The Rev. Gerald F. Schuh officiated at the one o’clock nuptial high mass. A brother of the bride, Michael, served as one of the altar boys, another brother, Joseph, was lector, and Mr. Ellenbecker presented his daughter in marriage.
Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Ellenbecker of Dorchester, a brother and sister-in-law of the groom, were the only attendants. Two brothers of the bridal couple seated the guest at the church.
The bride appeared in a floor-length gown of peau satin accented with a lace rose and lace floor-length ties at the back. The V neckline was detailed with a peau satin ruffle and lace inset. Lace edged the veil of English illusion which was held by a princess crown of aurora borealis crystals. She carried a cascade arrangement of red roses and white carnations which she later placed on the altar of the Blessed Virgin.
The Matron of honor was attired in a champagne lace street-length sheath with ruffle trim neck and wore a small matching veil. She carried a colonial bouquet of white bronze and yellow chrysanthemums.
Corsages of white carnations and yellow mums were worn by the mothers of the bridal couple and Mrs. Joe Sulik of Abbotsford, grand mother of the bride.
The wedding reception and a 4 o’clock supper were held at the Block Hotel at Dorchester.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Ellenbecker left on a week’s honeymoon to southern Wisconsin and now are making their home in Dorchester where both are employed at the Dorchester Co-op Feed Mill.
Both young people are graduates
of the Dor-Abby high school, the groom in 1964 and his bride in 1963.
