Lavandowski, Leroy D. (16 June 1936 - 25 Oct. 1968)
Leroy D. Lavandowski, 32, Boyceville was killed in a tractor accident on his
farm on Friday, October 25.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church at
Christie. Burial was made in the Loyal Cemetery and the Rev. Carl Booher
officiated. The Myre Funeral Home was in charge of all the arrangements.
He was born on June 16, 936 in the town of Weston. June 2, 1956 he married
Jeneda Armitage at Christie. He was a 1954 graduate of Loyal High School.
He farmed for 2 years in York Township, then moved to Miami, Florida for 11 1/2
years. On his return he lived in Milwaukee for 2 years and then the family moved
to the Minneapolis area where he was employed by a trucking firm. In June of
this year he bought a farm in rural Boyceville.
Pallbearers were Terry Wickersham, Ralph Rimer, James Buettner, Herman Seebandt,
William Joyce, Jr. and Donald Holt.
Mrs. Carl Booher was the organist and Mrs. Donald Schultz the soloist sang "What
Lord's Prayer" and "What a Friend We Have In Jesus."
In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Denise, 10; 2 sons, Layne,
8 and Lance, 2; all at home. A sister, Mrs. James (Joyce) Mead, Miami, Florida
and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Helmuth Levandowski, route 1, Neillsville.
