Walter, Janice ( 03 Jan 1953 - 06 Nov 1968)
Janice Marie Walter, 15, route 2, Loyal, died of a brief illness at her home at
11 a.m. Wednesday, November 6.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 9, at St. Anthony's Catholic
Church, Loyal. The Rev. N. E. Kimg was the Celebrant and Rev. Jerome Hoesser,
Wausau, and Rev. John Pritzl, Arkansas, were the concelebrants at the funeral
Mass. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.
A general rosary was held at the Myre Funeral Home Friday evening.
Pallbearers were Floyd Zopfi, William Bahr, Franklin and Frank Walter and Walter
and Eugene Schmidt.
Janice was born January 3, 1953 in the town of York, Clark County. She graduated
from St. Anthony's Parochial School in 1966 and was a sophomore at Loyal High
School .
She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, belonged to the F.H.A. and
Girls Chorus at Loyal High School.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. and mrs. Anthony Walter, Sr., route 2,
Loyal; one sister, Mrs. Delmane (Katheryn) Schwellenbach, Marshfield; two
brothers, Anthony Jr. and Joseph, both of route 2, Loyal.
She was preceded in death by a sister in infancy.
The sophomore class of Loyal High School attended the funeral in a body.
