The Mid-Year Commencement of the University of Wisconsin was held Saturday, Jan.
21, 1967 at the University Field House, Madison, at 3:45 p.m.
Joe Beckman was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering.
Mr. Beckman is a 1963 graduate of Thorp High School. Starting Feb. 1, he will
attend graduate school at the Colorado School of Mines, Golden, Colorado.
He has received a National Science Fellowship award.
Relatives attending the ceremony were Mrs. Joel Beckman, Mrs. Arnold Beckman,
Mrs. Mayme Milligan and Fran Milligan.
