Roytek, Gordon C. (Army Promotion - 10 JAN 1967)
Gordon C. Roytek, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Roytek, route 2, Stanley,
Wis., was promoted to Army Specialist fourth class, Jan. 10, 1967, in Vietnam,
while serving with the 87th Engineering Battalion.
Spec. Roytek, a mechanic in the 87th Battalion's Headquarters Co., entered the
army in March 1966 and was stationed at Ft. Polk, La. Before arriving overseas
in August 1966.
He is a 1964 graduate of Stanley Boyd area High School.
Before entering the Army, the specialist was employed as a factory worker for
the Stanley Company.
