Chili Locals (27 Jul 1972)

Cathy Roberts of Chicago, Il., returned to her home Sunday after spending a week at the Harland Pigott home as part of “Operation Friendship.”

Daniel Kirk, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kirk of St. Paul, Mn., spent a week with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jennings, and with other relatives in the area.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Newsome and daughter, Patti, of West Chicago, Il., are spending some vacation time with her mother, Mrs. Arthur Hillert. Mrs. Hillert’s son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hillert and daughter, Kay of Rockford, Il., spent last weekend at the Hillert home.

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hamburg and children and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Fox of Fond du Lac were visitors recently at the home of the ladies’ brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harland Pigott.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Mott and daughter have returned to Fort Sill, Ok., after spending the major part of a three-week furlough at the home of his mother, Mrs. Irene Mott, at Granton and at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Max Mahoney.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Jennings and family of Milwaukee spent some time with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jennings.

Sunday dinner and supper guests recently at the August Foemmel home were Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Korth, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Borchardt and Darrel Korth of Fort Atkinson, Miss Peggy Schlice of Stetsonville, Mr. and Mrs. Forest Foemmel and children of Chili and Sue Wickerham and Julie and Karl Ladwig of Marshfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Walters and four children of Denver, Co., spent two weeks recently with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jennings. A family picnic at Rock Dam honored the Walters family during their visit. Other family members present included Mr. and Mrs. Richard Veltus of Racine and the Kenneth, Howard and George Jennings families.
