Rohland, Teresa (Marriage - 22 July 1972)
Miss Teresa Rohland became the bride of Gerald Rakovec in a double-ring ceremony
performed the afternoon of July 22 at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Withee. The
Rev. A. F. Hellert officiated. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Edmond
Rohland of Rt. 2 Withee and Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Rakovec of Rt. 2 Greenwood.
The bride appeared in an Empire-style gown of lace and white sheer trimmed with
satin ribbon. Her three-tiered veil cascaded from a matching lace cap. She
carried a round bouquet of small, mixed summer flowers surrounded by baby’s
breath as she was given in marriage by her father.
Mrs. Christine Fetting, Spencer, attended her sister as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Miss Carol Kaz, Marshfield, Miss Diane Ciombar, Milwaukee, and
the Misses Elaine and Patty Rohland of Withee. Their Empire-style gowns of white
sheer with multi-colored flowers featured under-linings of pink, lilac, blue,
yellow and green, respectively.
Ralph Fetting, Spencer, served as bestman. Groomsmen were Mike Rakovec,
Greenwood, Terry Rohland, Withee, Eddie Kollman (and the balance was cut off.)
