Funeral services for Orvin August Frome, 65, Milwaukee, a native of Colby, were held Monday at Zion Lutheran church, Colby.  Mr. Frome died Thursday, March 24, at his home in Milwaukee.  Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby handled the funeral arrangements.  Burial will be in the Colby memorial cemetery.

Orvin A. Frome was born Feb. 9, 1901, at Colby.  As a young man, he worked as a telephone lineman.  He enlisted in the army in 1921 and served until 1924.  He operated the Block Hotel at Dorchester for several years, then re-entered the service in 1942, serving until 1946.  He moved to Milwaukee about 20 years ago, where he worked for Gugler Lithographic Co. until his retirement.  He was never married.

Survivors are four brothers, Edwin and Theodore, Colby, Henry of Milwaukee and Wallis, West Bend, and one sister, Mrs. John Dreger, Los Angeles, Calif.
