Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Johnson will make their home at 1305 A Otter Ave., Oshkosh, after April 17.
The wedding of Miss Janet Schiferl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Felix Schiferl of Dorchester, and Lowell Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Johnson of Milwaukee, took place Thursday, April 7. The ceremony was performed at 9 p.m. at Zion Lutheran church, Oshkosh, with the Rev. Gerald Nerenhausen officiating.
For her wedding the bride was attired in a white knit suit with detailed open collar accented by a corsage of roses and carnations. She wore a short veil attached to a crown with crystal decoration.
Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Scheuerman of Oshkosh were their attendants.
Both Mr.
and Mrs. Johnson are teachers at Roosevelt junior high school in Oshkosh. Mrs.
Johnson received her bachelor of science degree from the University of Wisconsin
and teaches home economics. Her husband is in the physical education department
and is also a student counselor. He is a graduate of Wisconsin state
university, at La Crosse, and has a master’s degree in social science from
Southern Illinois university, Carbondale, Ill.
