Funeral services for John P. Reeves, 70, Colby, were held on Wednesday, April 20, at St. Mary’s Catholic church, Colby.  The Rev. John Pinion officiated, and burial was in the parish cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ray Kriplean, Herbert Steinwand, Joe Steinwand, Harry Strathman, Arnold Strathman, and Clarence Decker.

Out-of-town relatives and friends attending the services included Robert Reeves, Mr. and Mrs. Chet Reeves, Mr. and Mrs. James Reeves, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Corso and daughters, Carol and Christine, Bruce Reeves, Carl Reeves and Mrs. James Higgins, all of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Reeves, Abbotsford, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kriplean, Appleton, Dick Rahl and Harry Rahl, Augusta, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Bauman and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bittner, Dorchester, Mrs. Elsie Schramm of Abbotsford and Otto Kleinstick of Spencer.
