Oestreich, Iva Mae (30 July 1888 - 14 Dec 1968)
Mrs. Iva Mae Oestreich, 80, Loyal, died Sunday morning, December 14 at her home.
Cause of death was due to a heart attack.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Myre Funeral Home, Loyal.
The Rev. Paul Miller will officiate and burial will be made in the Loyal
Cemetery.
The former Iva Ferguson was born on July 30, 1888 at Hartford. At the age of 5
she came with her parents who settled on a farm in the town of Loyal. After her
marriage she moved to the city of Loyal where she lived until her death.
February 9, 1909 she married Frank Oestreich at Loyal.
Mrs. Oestreich was a member of Royal Neighbors of America and the Order of
Eastern Star #265.
Pallberes were Norman Luchterhand, Garth Luchterhand, Raymond Oestreich, Elmer
Oestreich, Dale Weymiller and Kenneth Zinsli.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Harold (Lyla) Bain, San Diego, Calif.;
Mrs. Vera Dull, and Mrs. Cullen (Mary) Ayer, Loyal and Mrs. James (Nina) Sands,
Prescott; a son, Neil, Loyal; 13 Grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and a
sister, Mrs. Flossie Ohrmund, Los Angeles, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband on February 3, 1968; and 2 brothers and
a sister.
