Lakosky, Fred J. (1894 -08? Dec 1968)
A Requiem Mass for Fred H. Lakosky, 74, whose collection of Indian relics won
him international renown, was held Tues. at the Church of the Little Flower.
Mr. Lakosky, 74, died Sunday at Memorial Hospital. He had lived in the Hollywood
area for 23 years, after leaving Loyal.
His collection of coins and Indian relics which began with a single arrowhead
more than 60 years ago was considered the finest in the world, in or out of a
museum.
Mr. Lakosky had been mayor of Loyal at one time.
He is survived by three sons; Verland I. of Hollywood; Fredric, Hallandale; and
Clarence, ? Calif. two daughters, Mrs. Louis Huey of North ?, Calif. and Mrs.
Peter Schoppand(?) Por. Orchard, Wash., (?) , a brother Charles, Hot Springs ?,
two sisters, Sister Adel?la ---- of Milwaukee and Mrs .Louise ? , Miami and nine
grandchildren.
