Wehrmann, Bonnie L. (17 JUL 1976)

Immanuel United Church of Christ at Greenwood was the locale of the July 17 wedding of Miss Bonnie L. Wehrmann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wehrmann, and Raymond J. Weyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Weyer, all of Loyal.  The 1 p.m. ceremony was performed by the Rev. Larry J. Davis, pastor, and the Rev. Chester J. Osowski, pastor of St. Anthony’s Catholic church Loyal.

Bill Herr, greenwood, and Ray Feldt, Loyal, seated friends and relatives for the rite;, for which music was furnished by DeAnn McNeely, organist; Judy Haslow, soloist, and Julie Feldt, pianist.

As the bride was escorted to the altar site by her father, she was seen wearing an ivory satin halter gown with a matching hooded jacket.  She carried a bouquet of spider mums with white roses and mums.

Mint green halter dresses with sheer capes were worn by her aides—Miss Debbie Cole, Eau Claire, maid of honor, and Miss Debbie Goetsch, Waukesha; Miss Sue Weyer, Marshfield, and Mrs. Dan Kraschnewski, Colby, bridesmaids.  Each carried a sheath of green spider mums.

Flower girl was Paige Comstock, St. Charles, Ill., and ring bearer was David Treichel, Oregon, Wis.

Attending the groom were Joe Weyer, Loyal, best man, and Jim Weyer, Chili; Pat Weyer, Spencer and Tom Dahlby, Loyal groomsmen.

Additional wedding day events included a reception and dance at the Loyal American Legion Hall and a dinner at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Loyal.

Both graduated from Loyal High School, the bride in 1972 and the groom in 1971.  The new Mrs. Weyer also graduated in 1975 from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, majoring in physical education and is employed as a teacher.  Mr. Weyer, a 1972 graduate of Eau Claire Technical School, works for Huegel Dairy Supply, Loyal.

The couple will reside at Kilty’s Kountry Kourt, Route 2, Spencer, after returning from a wedding trip to the Western States.
