Brandt, Rev. Frederick (50 Years Minister - 1972)

Mr. and Mrs. William Melser and children, Michael, Donna and Loralee, of Pittsburgh, Pa, have returned home after spending 10 days with her mother, Mrs. Ida Nehls. On Sunday, the Melsers and Mrs. Nehls drove to Appleton where they attended the anniversary observance of the Rev. Frederick Brandt’s 50 years in the ministry. Rev. Brandt, who is the brother of Mrs. Nehls and of former Neillsville Mayor John C. Brandt, has been the pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Appleton ever since his ordination. His father, the late Rev. Herman Brandt, was a clergyman in Neillsville for many years, and his son, the Rev. John Brandt, is pastor of a Reedfield church.
