The world greeted the arrival of Jim Sandel on Feb. 25, 1949. This brown haired,
blue-eyed senior is now five feet, nine inches tall, and eighteen years old.
Since he claims blue as his favorite color, I wonder if it has anything to do
with the color of a certain girl's eyes! Anything that's eatable agrees with
Jim, but particularly pizza, hot dogs and hamburger. Jim enjoys listening to
"Kind of Drag," "Summer Wine" and "Darling Be Home Soon." If you hear something
that sounds like, "Hey Man!" you can be sure Jim is around.
Jim is active in sports, participating in football, basketball, baseball and
being captain of an intramural team. He is also on the bonfire committee and the
senior play production staff. When Jim is not involved in school activities, he
enjoys, hunting, fishing, loafing around and sleeping! After Jim finishes high
school, he plans on going on to school. Nothing definite, though.
On thing that boths Jim to no end are people who don't act their age, but try to
show off. Jim's advice is, "Get as much as you can out of high school for you
are only in it once."
