Wasserberger, Harry (1906 – 31 MAR 1967)
Harry Wasserberger, longtime member of the Clark County Board of Supervisors,
died Friday night at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, after an illness of
about three weeks. He was 60.
Mr. Wasserberger was born in Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.) and lived in the city
all of his life. Besides being one of the senior members of the county board, he
is credited with leading the building program of the new courthouse. He served
as chairman of the county board’s building committee.
Currently a real estate broker and accounting firm operator, Mr. Wasserberger
formerly was employed by the Zimmerman Bros. Store and Neillsville Bank. For 11
years he operated a laundry.
Mr. Wasserberger was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, charter member of the
Rotary Club, Neillsville County Club, and several Masonic organizations. He also
was affiliated with the Zor Shrine of Madison.
Surviving are his wife, the former Alice Haugen, who he married in 1937; and one
sister, Mrs. Lillian Severson, Neillsville.
