Looking at his senior profile outline, I see that Bruce has written his name a
total of six times…. That doesn’t necessarily mean he’s conceited, he may just
like to see his name in print. Bruce first graced us with his presence on May 6,
1949. Now at the age of seventeen, he stands 5’11” tall, and almost that broad
through the shoulders. Known at THS as “Lovely,” he may have been named this
because of his measurements, which he informed me, are 42-30-32, probably having
been developed by weight lifting, with which he passes his free hours.
Blue eyed, blond haired, he like black, and claims to enjoy all foods. If
“Georgy Girl” is playing, you can be sure he’s listening. He simply can’t
stomach “jellyfish type people who don’t stand up for what they say,” and
advises the underclassmen to abide by the Dress Code.
Bruce holds the unusual record of being class president three years in a row! He
has also participated in sports and forensics. As Student Council
Vice-President, Bruce has promoted the new dress code. He is also a member of
the National Honor Society.
La Crosse State University will be the future recipient of his efforts, as he
studies for a degree in biology and physical education.
