On Sept. 28, 1948, the oldest boy in a family of five – Barry Berdal was born.
Since then he has grown to be 5'7" and has brown hair and green eyes.
Barry has spent most of his time in high school practicing Attila and the Huns.
As most everyone knows, he plays bass guitar and does the majority of the
singing with this group. He has been with the band since they formed on April 4,
1964, but he plans on quitting this summer.
On asking Barry what some of his favorite things were, I received numerous
answers. His favorite color is blue and his favorite song is "The House of the
Rising Sun," by the Animals. As for recreation, Barry likes to hunt and enjoys
lifting weights. His favorite class is Psychology and his favorite teacher is
Mr. Frinak. He feels he has learned much by taking this class and will try to
put his knowledge to use sometime in the future.
Barry has had some difficulty in the last thirty days in securing rides, but in
about six or seven days he will have his license back. He says he will be more
careful in the future and will not exceed the speed limit of 55 mph.
Barry's plans for the future are to have a restful summer and in the fall attend
the Wausau Technical School and take up Business Administration.
