Klueckmann, Edwin W. (15 August 1891 - 18 August 1972)

Funeral services for Edwin W. Klueckmann, 81, Globe area native, who had resided in Memorial Home for the last two years, were held Monday, August 21, at 1:30 p.m. from the Georgas Funeral Home. The Rev. Obed Anderson of Eau Claire officiated and burial was made in Rest Haven Garden cemetery in Eau Claire. Mr. Klueckmann died August 18.

Edwin Klueckmann, the son of William and Bertha (Schoenherr) Klueckmann, was born August 15, 1891, in the Globe area and was educated there. His marriage to the former Tressie Bodwin, who preceded him in death, took place September 24, 1914, at Globe. The couple farmed in the area until 1945, when they moved to Eau Claire where Mr. Klueckmann was employed at the Sterling paper mills until his retirement. He was a charter member of hope Lutheran Church in Eau Claire.

Survivors include three children, Forest Klueckmann of Fall Creek, Mrs. Bertie (Dolly) Schultz of Neillsville and Mrs. Ervin (Elaine) Clark of Eau Claire; three sisters, Mrs. Hedwig Schoenherr of Neillsville, Mrs. Tillie Kramer of Hales Corners and Mrs. Edwina Pemberton of Portland, Ore.; three brothers, Walter Mitte of Milwaukee, William Mitte of Dubuque, Ia., and Harold Mitte of Neillsville; and eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were: Maynard Klueckmann, Larry Klueckmann, Vernon Klueckmann, James Clark, Robert Arndt and Richard Putz. “In the Garden” and “How Great Thou Art” were sung by the Rev. Gary Clark, accompanied by Mrs. Jess W. Scott.

Those from out of town who attended the services were: Mrs. Tillie Kramer, Hales Corners; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Mitt, Mrs. Donald Kramer, Mrs. Herman Schoenherr and daughter, Gerald Schoenherr and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Logeman and Gary, all of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Mizia, Pinellas Park, Fla.; Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Clark, Mr. and Mrs. James Clark and family, Mrs. Mae Hempleman and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Martin, Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Klueckmann, Altoona; Mr. and Mrs. Forest Klueckmann and Barbara, Fall Creek; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Arndt and family, Madison; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Putz and family, Bracket; and Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Klueckmann and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Klueckmann, Willard.
