Klugiewicz, Anton J. (? – 21 APR 1966)
Funeral services for Anton J. Klugiewicz, formerly of Stanley, Wis., were held
at Holy Cross Church, Milwaukee, Wis. Interment was at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mr. Klugiewicz died in Milwaukee, Thursday, April 21, 1966 of complications due
to a broken hip.
Mr. Klugiewicz of 309 N. 61st St., Milwaukee, was born in Poland and came to the
United States in 1890. He moved to a farm northwest of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.)
in 1892.
He was united in marriage to Mary Ann Wargoliewicz on July 3, 1916. He was a
tavern keeper in Stanley until 1945, when he retired to a residence in
Milwaukee.
His is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Klugiewicz, daughters, Mrs. Sigmund
(Frances) Debrowski of Villa Park, Ill., and Mrs. Florence Slowiak of Milwaukee,
Wis., sons, John A. of Gilman, Thomas P. and Leon J. of Milwaukee. He is further
survived by 17 grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
