Once upon a time (seventeen years ago to be exact) a six pound baby girl was
born to two proud parents at Stanley Memorial Hospital. Today that same spoiled
child is the fun-loving type gal we see ambling through the halls of Thorp High
School.
Ruth Reinke, notoriously known as "Toots" or "Rootsie-T" is a member of the
Senior Class who has been active for four years in GAA, Pep Club, and Chorus.
She has proved to be an avid and successful Business Manager on the "Cardinalis"
staff and has been a great asset in the production of the school newspaper.
Toots has enjoyed working in both the Junior and Senior class plays, in which
she was a member of the cast and production staff, respectively.
Outside of school her leisure time is occupied with her hobbies, which include
playing the organ and working on cars and radios. She enjoys listening to both
popular and classical music and is particularly fond of writing letters…wonder
why?
As for the future, Toots is planning to find employment in the field of
secretarial work.
