Goetz, Anna (09 Feb 1873 - 12 Mar 1969)

Miss Anna Goetz, 96, died of old age compliations at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, at Memorial Home in Neillsville.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 15, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal and burial was made in the parish cemetery. The Rev. Norbert King officiated with Rev. Jerome Hoesser, Wausau, the concelebrandt.

The Myre Funeral Home was in charge of all the arrangements.

Miss Goetz was born Feb. 9, 1873 in Germany. She came to the U.S, at the age of 11 years. Her parents settled in Jefferson and a short time later moved to Clark County. She spent her life as a housekeeper in Catholic Rectorys until her retirement when she returned to Clark County, town of York. The past year she has made her home in Memorial Home, Neillsville.

She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. The Altar Society and a General Rosary were said for her.

She is survived by two sisters and a brother.

Pallbearers were Phillip Schecklman, Franklin Water, Tony Water, Ed Schmidt, Albert Meyer and Alex Schecklman.

The Altar Society attended in a body.
